Hello. I am a (very) healthy 72 yr old female. Very recently i have been diagnosed with (possible)Mononucleosis by my excellent family physician.(Symptoms: extreme fatique, sore throat, swollen glands, sweats, headaches). She has prescribed lots of rest, fluids and to avoid close contact with people for a few weeks. I am invited to a party this Weekend. I want to send my regrets,even if i am very careful yet some friends claim that there is no thread of contageousness. Could you please advise? (My physician is not available to give such till after the party.) I don t want to put anybody at risk!!
